Cat Monaco, a native of Darien, IL, graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and was a member of Sigma Tau Delta. While studying at Texas A&M, Cat volunteered at the Student Programs Office in the Memorial Student Center (MSC). During her time in the MSC she served as the Vice President of the Arts & Entertainment Programming Council, which brought arts awareness to campus though art galleries, film series, Broadway performances, and concerts. As a senior, she served as the Chief Operating Officer where she oversaw sixteen programming organizations as well as represented the MSC to alumni and university officials. Cat also spent time in New York City working for Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation, a non-profit that provides free summer camps to NYC public school children. In this role, she planned and participated in educational and art programs for first graders.
