Dina Kostrow, a native of Overland Park, KS, graduated from Kansas State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and a minor in English literature. While at K-State, she spent a summer conducting archaeological research in Peru, assisted with psychological research on the effect of language and emotion on memory and perception, and worked as a teaching assistant for the Introduction to Cultural Anthropology course. After graduating, Dina spent a year teaching ninth- and tenth-grade English at Birmingham’s A.H. Parker High School.
