Isabel Hagood, a native of Birmingham, AL, graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and a minor in creative writing in 2016. During her undergraduate career, she served as editor-in- chief of the school’s literary magazine and worked as a tutor in local schools. After her time at Impact, Isabel hopes to pursue a Master’s degree and advocate for education equity.

What do you like to do for fun?

I always have a pretty big reading list and I love writing. I also really enjoy getting to know whatever city I’m in through exploring the outdoors and, of course, local restaurants and breweries.
