Karli Boulware, a native of Greenville, AL, graduated magna cum laude from The University of Alabama, where she majored in Accounting. She spent her summers throughout college working at a nonprofit camp and conference center located in the northeastern part of Alabama. While at UA, she had the opportunity to volunteer with the Culverhouse LIFT Program, mentoring members of the Tuscaloosa community seeking QuickBooks certification. After working with Impact Alabama, she hopes to continue to be involved with nonprofit work.
What do you like to do for fun?
There is nothing more fun to me than spending time outside! I love going camping and hiking with my friends (and my dog), finding new trails, and looking at all the different types of landscapes and views Alabama has to offer. I got a tent for graduation and can’t wait to try it out!
What do you wish you could have studied more in school?
I never had much exposure to art prior to college. Those general requirement courses from freshman and sophomore year that involved music or fine arts happened to be some of my favorite courses while in school, and I wish I could have taken one every single semester!
