What is your favorite quote from a book, film, or song?

Currently, my favorite quote is from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton. At one point, the title character calls out to “America, you great unfinished symphony.” This line struck me as a beautiful reminder of the intricacies and potential our country holds, but also of how much work there is to be done!

Name and describe a memorable place you’ve been.

I had the opportunity to visit Glacier National Park in Montana a few years ago. I was overwhelmed by its beauty and sheer size. Growing up in a large southern city, I had no concept of the rugged openness that still existed in this country. This experience broadened my horizons and sparked my love of traveling.
