Name and describe a memorable place you’ve been.

The most memorable place I have explored is Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. I went there for a study abroad trip and was blown away by the beauty of the natural resources such as waterfalls, forests, and caves. Nature is more fun when you interact with it, so I also went white water rafting and hiking to experience more of what nature has to offer.

What was your most meaningful service experience or extracurricular activity in college and why?

My most meaningful extracurricular experience in college was my service trip to Memphis, TN. We spent our time volunteering with several non-profits and community programs like schools, urban gardens, and homeless shelters. More importantly, I enjoyed spent time learning about the city’ history, culture, and people.
