Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Ayanna Wedgeworth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Alabama, where she majored in Communications with a minor in Gender and Race studies. As an undergraduate, Ayanna devoted her time to Al’s Pals, a mentoring program with inner city students. She also served as a volunteer at the Rise School of Tuscaloosa. After serving with Impact America, Ayanna plans to pursue a Masters of Social Work.
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy trying new eateries, spending time outdoors, reading & practicing yoga. I also love to travel to new places and have impromptu adventures. You can also catch me attending a tapping of my favorite podcasts or a concert whenever I can.
