What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy practicing drawing with graphite and painting, as well as watching films and listening to music.

Name and describe a memorable place you’ve been.

When I was younger, my friends and I used to walk along the shoreline of Mobile Bay. We found a bungalow where we could hang hammocks and read. This became a regular, though hidden spot for us all, and I cherish the memories of this place.

What is your favorite quote from a book, film, or song?

“How do you know when a painting is finished?” From the film Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019). I really love this film, and I love this quote because it suggests an endlessness to a creative process, paralleling the relationship between the two main characters, despite the impending termination of their time together.
