Bethany was born in Anderson, SC, but grew up in Double Springs, AL. Before becoming a service member for Impact, she worked with Workshops Empowerment Inc. on the Job Exploration Training (JET) Program Staff, providing an opportunity for high school
students with disabilities to experience work at one or more local businesses.

What do you like to do for fun?
I like exploring antique stores, baking, and gardening. I’ve more than likely been to all the antique stores in Birmingham.
What was your most meaningful service experience or extracurricular activity in college and why?
I enjoyed being a part of the symphonic band and gospel choir at BSC. Singing with other choirs in joint performances in the Birmingham community was the most meaningful experience to me.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I’m a third generation tree farmer.
