Glory Akinduro was born in Macon, Georgia, but raised in Dothan, Alabama. She attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where she graduated cum laude with honors in April 2019. Glory majored in Biomedical Sciences and minored in Nutrition Sciences. Glory was very involved around campus and served as the President of Pre-medical Branch of American Medical Women’s Association and the Vice President of the African Student Association. She also was involved with planning fun events around campus for students and volunteered with several organizations.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

My first name is actually Oluwanifemi which means God loves me. Both of my parents and eldest brother were born and raised in Nigeria while my other two brothers were born in England and New Jersey. The main dishes I cook in my apartment kitchen are from Nigeria.
