A well-traveled New Englander, Jake Webb grew up in New Hampshire and graduated in 2019 from the University of Puget Sound with a BA in English (emphasis creative writing) and communication studies with a minor in Chinese language. As an undergraduate, Jake was one of the founders of the UPS Film and Media Production Club and studied in Taichung, Taiwan. After serving with Impact America, Jake is considering an MFA in Film Production.

What do you like to do for fun?

I like to watch movies and write, both screenplays and fiction. I also play a lot of Dungeons and Dragons with my friends across the country.

Name and describe a memorable place you’ve been.

In October 2018, I took a media gig in The Gambia, a small country in West Africa. I spent two weeks traveling the nation and working with health officials. The hot desert climate of sub-Saharan Africa combined with the distinct culture of a newly-democratic nation was complete system-shock for a kid from wintery New Hampshire.
