Jessica Chriesman hails from Birmingham, Alabama, the Magic City. The daughter of a journalist and a librarian, she learned to craft a story at an early age. Inspired to become a rule-breaking filmmaker, she dedicated herself to learning the rules of filmmaking so that she can tell her stories more fully and artistically. To this end, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in filmmaking and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she made a variety of films. Since graduating, she has had the privilege of screening films in festivals across the United States. After working with Impact America, Jessica hopes to attend graduate school and build a career marrying her talent for filmmaking to her heart for service.
