Born and raised in Florence, Alabama, in 2017 Kiana Kennamore graduated from The University of Alabama, where she double majored in African American Studies and human environmental sciences. As an undergraduate, Kiana served as founder and president for Girl Talk, co-founder and secretary for Active Minds,  outreach chair for Circle K International, and peer educator intern for Project Health and Gamma. She also studied democracy and economic development in Kingston, Jamaica. After serving with Impact America, Kiana hopes to pursue full-time ministry.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love to explore the hidden treasures on earth through hiking on trials and walking around the city.

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is being authentic and connecting with others.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I was voted most humorous in high school, so I am very amusing. Well, that is what I tell myself.
