Makayla Smith is from Memphis, Tennessee and graduated in the fall of 2021 from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S degree. She majored in Exercise science with a minor in Human and Health Performance. Makayla has served on the Dean’s List her freshman and senior year of college while also being accepted into The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. After serving with Impact America, Makayla plans to pursue graduate school to receive a OTR/L in Occupational Therapy.


What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, riding horses, and being adventurous!


What is your biggest strength?

One of my biggest strengths are my social and communication skills. I am very outgoing and love to connect with people.


Who is someone you admire and why?

I admire my grandfather because he always sets the right example. He has raised me to always be kind, caring, and forgiving.
