Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Peyton Yurk graduated summa cum laude from The University of Alabama with a major in human development and family studies and a minor in psychology. During her undergraduate years, Peyton participated in a student ministry on campus and also volunteered with Tuscaloosa One Place at Cottondale Elementary. After serving with Impact America, Peyton hopes either to further her education with a masters degree in social work.

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is that I am a good and active listener. If someone has something that they want to be heard, come to me because I want to listen to what you have to say.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

Most people don’t know that in 3rd grade, I won a character award in my class for Tolerance, and I cried because I didn’t know what tolerance meant, but now it’s a word I live by.
