What do you like to do for fun?

I like to hang out with my dogs, play video games, watch anime, and try out new restaurants.

What was your most meaningful service experience or extracurricular activity in college and why?

My most meaningful extracurricular activity in college was helping UAB VSA host its biggest cultural event called Lotus Under the Lights. It was a huge milestone in the club’s future success.¬†

Who is someone you admire and why?

I strongly admire my grandmother. During the Vietnam War, my Vietnamese grandparents and their four children were in refugee camps located in Laos. She learned to speak Laotian and was both a nurse and a teacher for the other refugees at that time. She later came to the United States and single-handedly raised her four children with very little to no knowledge of the English language.
