Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2020 Taylar Dickey graduated magna cum laude from Tennessee State University, where she majored in criminal justice. As an undergraduate, Taylar served as Vice President for the Sociology Club, Parliamentarian/Fundraising Chair of the First Ladies Club Incorporated, member of the Pre-Alumni Council, and many other organizations. Taylar volunteered to tutor elementary students at Temple Church in Nashville, Tennessee, and she also graduated from the Tennessee State University Collegiate Police Academy while in undergrad. Taylar just recently completed a fellowship with a non-profit called Cities United. After serving with Impact America, Taylar plans to pursue a master’s degree in Public Administration.

What is your proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment is graduating college in 3 1⁄2 years.

What do you like to do for fun?
I like to read, write, go out to eat or eat in general, watch movies, and hang out with family and friends.
