On March 4th, 2017, after more than 13,518 hours of practice and competing in 24 tournaments across the South during the last three years, SpeakFirst Juniors Brooklin Ballard and Shae Thomas entered the Deep South District Tournament in Montgomery. After going 6-1 in the tournament, Brooklin and Shae won second place, qualifying them for the 2017 National Debate Tournament!
