Rachel Ellis is a Birmingham native and University of North Alabama alumni, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. After serving with Impact, Rachel plans to begin her long-term career in a leading support role, preferably in the non-profit sector.

What is your biggest strength?
I’m a people’s person! I love talking to people from all walks of life and can find something valuable in every story I’m told. I’m most energized when I’m being a help to someone, and loyalty is everything to me.
Who is someone you admire and why?
Tabitha Brown. The wisdom she shares always speaks to me and I love how graceful and sunny she is. Hearing her share her life stories on pursuing her dreams despite the many challenges she’s faced really inspires me on my own life journey. She proves that being authentic is the key to accomplishing your goals and dreams.
