What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy discovering new things about the city I live in, especially trying out new restaurants! I also enjoy binge-watching new TV shows on Netflix or Hulu.

Name and describe a memorable place you’ve been.

In 2018, I went to Cape Town, South Africa on a study abroad trip. It was my first, true experience of traveling abroad. Cape Town was such a memorable place because I was able to establish my love for public health and quickly added Global Health as my second major when I returned to campus.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

Most people assume my name originates from the popular soda, “Fanta,” however my parents got the inspiration from the movie “Roots” by Alex Haley.
