Part-time Tennessee Program Assistant
Summary: The Program Assistant is a temporary, part-time position designed to provide support to the daily operations of Impact America – Tennessee, with special focus given to administration, organization, and bookkeeping; and support the AmeriCorps members to ensure a high-quality service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Memphis Regional Director and Tennessee Program Manager through various administrative and operational duties, including but not limited to:

- Reviewing travel maps and approving mileage reimbursements
- Reviewing transaction spreadsheets and approving expense reimbursements
- Overseeing AmeriCorps team regarding adherence to accounting policy
- Support the FocusFirst Coordinator and AmeriCorps team through FocusFirst-specific assignments, including but not limited to:
- Conducting vision screenings in local area as needed
- Processing and mailing screening results when applicable
- Assisting AmeriCorps team with their screenings and processing
- Support the SaveFirst Team Leader and AmeriCorps team through SaveFirst-specific assignments, including but not limited to:
- Assisting with tax training sessions and grading assignments
- Supporting volunteer recruitment and managing volunteer hours
- Ensuring that confidential documents are properly disposed
Reports to: Tennessee Program Manager & Memphis Regional Director
Expectations:
- Positive attitude and rapport with staff and AmeriCorps members
- Adherence to assigned deadlines for projects and attention to detail
- Flexibility in a dynamic service environment
- Work 10-15 hours per week from a designated office space in Memphis
